Reach For The Skies (Chinese: 不平凡的平凡) is a 150-episode drama series produced by Mediacorp Channel 8. It stars Bryan Wong, Kym Ng, Pan Lingling, Brandon Wong, Catherine Sng, Zhu Houren, Chen Shucheng, Yao Wenlong, Joey Swee, Zhang Zhenhuan, He Yingying , Foo Fangrong and Damien Teo as the cast of this series.[1]
The show replaced the second half of the 7.00 pm drama timeslot, airing weekdays from April 4, 2018, 7.30 pm to 8.00 pm on weekdays making it the sixth long-form half an hour drama airing together with news-current affairs programme Hello Singapore at 6.30pm.

The story centres round the inhabitants of small neighbourhood who work in an enrichment school and a minimart. From ex-criminal to middle-aged workers who lost their jobs to technology, and elderlies with a seemingly disillusioned life, can there still be hopes and dreams for these everyday folks who live at the edge of society ? A light-hearted drama bursting with colourful characters, watch how Zhong Ling (Pan Lingling) the founder of Hope Training Centre, and Hong Da Cai (Kym Ng) the boss of ‘Tian Tian Lai’ minimart, deal with every day situation and at the same time manage their own love life.[2]
